Man Accused of Annoying Child at Stanton Elem.

Suspect arrested and also booked on suspicion of exposing himself to a child, police said.

A young man was behind bars Friday evening after allegedly annoying and exposing himself to a child, police said.

Arrested was Stevie Jackson, 18, from Glendora. The man was booked on suspicion of child annoying and indecent exposure. Jackson was cited with a misdemeanor and released.

Authorities were alerted to the alleged incident just after 5:30 p.m. at , 725 South Vecino Drive. The child was on the playground when the suspect, from a distance, allegedly exposed himself, said Lieutenant James DeMond.

Once officers arrived, the suspect was still near the school and was eventually arrested.

Jackson is scheduled to appear at West Covina Superior Court August 2.
