Charter Oak To Hold Aquatics Center Groundbreaking

The Charter Oak Unified School District will hold a groundbreaking ceremony where the future aquatics center will begin construction.

The groundbreaking ceremony will take place Friday, Jan. 17 at 10 a.m. at Charter Oak High School, 1430 East Covina Blvd.

The new aquatics center will be completely new construction, not a renovation and will feature a larger pool at 31 by 25 meters an improvement over the current pool.

The governing board considered a new aquatics center among their list of priorities in the district's new Facilities Master Plan.
