Woods Unseated In Citrus College Elections
Barbara Dickerson voted in as Trustee.
Gary Woods' 32-year career as Citrus College Board of Trustee member has come to an end after being unseated by Barbara Dickerson Tuesday night.
With all 12 precincts reporting, Dickerson, former member of the Azusa Unified School Board, received 693 votes for Trustee Area 1, which serves Azusa and parts of Duarte. Former Azusa Mayor Christina Madrid came in second with 533 votes. Woods came in third with 479 votes. Shawn Millner received 138 voted and Lorenzo Rios received 81 votes, according to lavote.net.
Woods' integrity came under fire publicly in March of 2013 after allegations surfaced that he did not live in the district for which he was elected.
