Teens Collared Following a Police Chase

Late-night drive through Glendora ends up with DUI, narcotics arrest.

A pair of teens were arrested New Year's Eve after leading Glendora police on a short chase.

The pursuit began about 11:30 p.m. Saturday on Lone Hill Avenue, near Petunia Street, when a vehicle nearly struck a cop car.

Police gave chase, Glendora police Sgt. Marty Amaro said.

The occupants were juvenlies, according to police, and their names were not released.

Following a short pursuit, police collared the two at gunspoint on Cordelia Avenue, near Kenoma Street, Amaro said.

The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI and the other teen was arrested on suspicion of narcotics possession, Amaro said.

Both teens were cited and eventually released to their parents.
