Police Blotter: A Look At Local Calls For Service In Glendora

Police activity for the week of Nov. 4 to Nov. 10.

The following information was provided by the Glendora Police Department. Arrests do not indicate a conviction.

Monday, Nov. 4
11:34 a.m. - Anon-injury traffic collision was investigated on North Grand Avenue at Foothill Blvd.

12:35 p.m. - An injury traffic collision occurred on South Glendora and Colorado avenues. A report was taken.

5:53 p.m. - An injury traffic collision was reported in North Grande and Foothill avenues. A report was taken.

7:47 p.m. - Officers took a fraud report in the 300 block of North Valley Center Avenue.

Tuesday, Nov. 5
9:17 a.m. - A traffic stop was conducted in the 300 block of East Route 66. Arrested was Maria Campuzanoc, 46, on suspicion of driving without a license and failure to provide a license to officers. Campuzanoc was issued a citation and released.

11:56 a.m. - Officers investigated a fraud report in the 2100 block of East Meadowbrook Lane.

6:32 p.m. - A vehicle burglary was reported in the 500 block of West Leadora Avenue.

7:54 p.m. - Theft in progress was reported at Kohl's, 1225 South Lone Hill Avenue. Police arrested Michelle Hunziker, 46, on suspicion of theft. Hunziker was held in lieu of $500 bail.

8:56 p.m. - Fraud in progress was reported at Walmart, 1950 East Auto Center Drive. Arrested was Kevin Cohn, 30, on suspicion of burglary and identity theft. Cohn was issued a citation and released.

Wednesday, Nov. 6.
3:13 a.m. - Vehicle burglary was reported in the 300 block of South Vista Bonita Avenue.

7:26 a.m. - Vehicle burglary was investigated in the 400 block of North Valencia Avenue.

8:10 a.m. - Commercial burglary was reported in the 1200 block of East Route 66.

1:06 p.m. - Residential burglary was reported in the 1300 block of South Glencroft Road.

1:50 p.m. - Theft in progress was reported at Kohl's. The suspect and her male counterpart drove off before officers arrived to the store, but intercepted the vehicle on the 210 freeway. Arrested was Elsa Haro, 21, from Rialto, on suspicion of burglary. Haro was released on $20,000 bond.

5:39 p.m. - Vehicle burglary was reported in the 800 block of South Grand Avenue. A report was taken.

7:30 p.m. - A family disturbance was reported in the 100 block of South Gordon Avenue. Arrested was Basil Winn, 32, on suspicion of battery, obstructing an officer, and destroying/concealing evidence. Winn was released for a court appearance.

Thursday, Nov. 7
7:32 a.m. - Theft was reported in the 800 block of West Galatea Avenue.

9:39 a.m. - Theft was reported in the 700 block of East Plymouth Street. A report was taken.

10:28 a.m. - Suspicious circumstances were reported in the 1800 block of East Route 66. Arrested was Amy Loucks, 22, on suspicion of burglary, battery of a peace officer/emergency personnel and entering the property with the purpose of property, or property rights. Loucks was taken to the Century Regional Detention Facility.

1:46 p.m. - An injury traffic collision was reported in the 700 block of West Route 66. A report was taken.

4:45 p.m. - Vehicle burglary was reported in the 600 block of West Baseline Road.

9:53 p.m. - Vandalism was reported in the 1200 block of East Route 66.

10:33 p.m. - Grand theft auto was reported in the 300 block of West Mauna Loa Avenue.

Friday, Nov. 8
3:01 a.m. - DUI was reported in the 900 block of East Route 66. Arrested was Tyler Armenta, 27, from Ontario, on suspicion of DUI, exceeding the legal blood-alcohol level and driving without a license. Armenta was cited and released.

7:43 a.m. - Burglary was reported in the 400 block of North Loraine Avenue.

1 p.m. - An injury collision was reported on South Grande Avenue and Baseline Road. A report was taken.

3:14 p.m. - Police investigated a burglary report in the 100 block of Ambleside Way.

5:58 p.m. - Theft was investigated in the 1200 block of South line Hill Avenue.

Saturday, Nov, 9
3:08 a.m. - Grand theft in progress was reported in the 100 block of North Galanto Avenue. A resident witnessed a suspicious man along the railroad tracks and believed that man was stealing copper wire. Officers staged nearby and eventually detained and arrested Phillip Healan, 51, on suspicion of grand theft of property and trespassing on railroad property. Healan was eventually transferred to the Inmate Reception Center in Los Angeles.

8:50 a.m. - Theft was reported in the 300 block of South Glenwood Avenue.

9:32 a.m. - Police investigated a residential burglary in the 600 block of North Fountain Springs Lane.

12:05 p.m. - A vehicle burglary was reported in the 800 block of South Calmgrove Avenue.

8:25 p.m. - A medical assist was requested in the 400 block of West Route 66. Police arrested Mary Patterson, 55, on suspicion of DUI and exceeding the legal blood-alcohol level. Patterson was issued a citation and released.

Sunday, Nov. 10
8:26 a.m. - Police investigated a suspicious occupied vehicle at Walmart. Arrested was Jeffrey  Hartzel, 20, on an outstanding warrant. Hartzel was cited and released.

2:12 p.m. - A fraud report was taken in the 600 block of South Grand Avenue.

4:43 p.m. - A report of a missing juvenile was investigated in the 900 block of East Route 66.

9:23 p.m. - A fight was reported at T. Phillips Alehouse, 180 North Glendora Avenue. The fighting parties were separated before police arrived. No report was taken.
