Glendora Police Arrest Third Walmart Theft Suspect
Officers locate man in West Covina, take him in to custody.
Glendora Police arrested the third suspect implicated in the theft and alleged in a Walmart parking lot from Sunday night.
Police arrested Behrooz Alamdari, 34, from La Verne, the afternoon of April 3, on suspicion of robbery. Officers arrived to a residence in La Verne with a warrant in their possession, but Alamdari was not at the location, police said.
Authorities acquired information that he was possibly in the West Covina area. Officers arrived to the Intercoast Colleges, 1400 West Covina Parkway, where Alamdari is a student. Officers located the suspect out on foot near the school and took him into custody without incident.
According to the Glendora Police Arrest Log, both Alamdari and the second male suspect, Jason Murphy, 37, from San Dimas, have already made court appearances. The third suspect, Della Duran, 36, from Pomona, is still in custody.
The three suspects approached a man Sunday, April 1 in a Walmart parking lot, 1950 East Auto Centre Drive. According to authorities, one of the male suspects hit the theft victim over the head with a wine bottle, while Duran allegedly threatened the victim with a knife. A 15-inch Macbook laptop and GPS device were allegedly taken in the theft, according to police.
It is unknown if the property was found and returned.
