Glendora PD Make Arrests in Alleged Walmart Attack

Glendora PD and Sheriff's Deputies were on stakeout near home of one of the suspects before arrests were made.

Glendora Police arrested two of the three suspects implicated in the late Sunday night, just hours after the alleged crime took place.

Arrested were Jason Murphy, 37, and Della Duran, 46. Murphy was booked on suspicion of robbery and was arrested on an outstanding warrant. He is being held without bail. Duran was also booked on suspicion of robbery and is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Officers were very tight-lipped with details of the arrest, saying an investigation is ongoing.

According to scanner reports, Glendora officers and several Sheriff's deputies were waiting near the home of one of the suspects in the 100 block of Maverick Drive in San Dimas.

After the attack happened at , Sunday, a witness followed the truck southbound on Interstate 57 and wrote down the license plate number, from which a possible address of one of the suspects was found by officers.

Around midnight, the suspect truck approached the residence. Authorities made the determination that the vehicle was the one seen by the witness in the attack and officers moved in.

Police had the vehicle at gunpoint and directed other officers to mobilize just south of the location at Marshall Court and San Dimas Avenue with a spike strip in case the driver attempted to flee and evade officers, according to scanner reports.

Officers then ordered the suspects out of the truck and took them into custody once they complied, police said.

It is unknown if the stolen Macbook laptop and GPS device were found.
