Watch: Storm Hits Glendora

April showers bring the wet stuff to Southern California, more expected tonight.

A powerful storm brought much rain to the area Friday morning, including some thunder and lightning to a few areas.

A few streets throughout Glendora saw moderate to heavy runoff as a result of the rains. The city offered sandbags and sand for residents who wanted to provide a little protection for their homes.

There is an 80 percent chance for more rain tonight, including some thunder and lightning before 11 p.m., according to the National Weather Service. West southwest winds are expected between 5 and 10 miles per hour.
