Covina Police Chase Ends In Glendora, Suspect Arrested

Not many details revealed at this time by Covina Police, investigation is ongoing.

A pursuit that started in Covina ended with a minor crash and suspect search in Glendora Thursday morning.

Covina Police, with assistance from Azusa and Glendora Police, searched for about two hours and found the outstanding suspect hiding inside a vehicle in a nearby property. The man crashed his vehicle into an occupied car. Minor injuries were reported, said Lieutenant Joe Ward of Glendora Police.

Authorities became aware of the chase as it terminated on Barranca Avenue near Ghent Street on a county portion of the road just before 12:30 a.m., Ward said.

The suspect fled the vehicle, described as a Honda by the California Highway Patrol, the agency which handled the crash.

Azusa and Glendora officers helped establish a containment area while Covina Police searched about 10 homes. The man was found hiding in a vehicle and was arrested, Ward said.

Arrest information was not readily available.
