At Least Two Injured in Major Collision Near Glendora
Both victims complained of pain after the crash, authorities said.
A truck flipped over onto its roof after clipping a mini van in a major crash on Arrow Highway Wednesday afternoon.
The occupant of the truck as well as the occupant of the minivan both received minor injuries and were transported by ambulance to area hospitals, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The accident was reported at 12:13 p.m. on Arrow Highway at Glendora Avenue in the county portion of the road. A 39-year-old woman, a Covina resident, was in the left hand turn lane from westbound Arrow to turn south onto Glendora. The driver of the white truck, identified as a 17-year-old male, also from Covina, was traveling east on Arrow when the woman turned into traffic. The teen swerved to avoid the minivan, said Keri Rivas of the CHP.

"[He] swerved to the right, but still clipped party number one's vehicle," Rivas said.
The truck flipped over onto its roof. Fire fighters worked to extract the teen driver, Rivas said.

Fire fighters originally called for a helicopter to transport the teen, whom they initially described as suffering critical injuries, but they decided to transport the teen by ambulance, because the teen was described as combative, said Inspector Brian Riley of the Los Angeles County Fire Department.
CHP officers are still at County/USC interviewing the patient as the investigation continues, Rivas said.
