The move of GHS to the Baseline League from a fan perspective was a major inconvenience. TravelingRead More to away games made it difficult to make the commute in commuter traffic to arrive in time for games. The CIF has never taken these considerations into mind when organizing leagues. Their is plenty of "local" & "equivalent" competition to form a league so it isn't a major road trip. But, again, those of us who have followed CIF high school ball over the years know there is a fair amount of POLITICS involved in league alignment.
