Greatly DISappointed. The showroom was nice and had a descent selection. The main reason I wentRead More with this company was that it was close and I thought there wouldn't be any problems. Oh what a misguided belief that turned out to be. After discussing what I wanted and beleiving I was getting a fair price I had Matt come to the house to look at the job and take measurements. During the time he was at the house we again discussed what I wanted. Two bathrooms tiled with a wainscot and new couter tops for the kitchen. He took the measurements. The contract was signed. The work was done on the kitchen in a timely manner and anything that was found to need further work was fixed. Now onto the first bathroom. The work was very good on that also, but at this time it has not been completed as agreed upon. This is the stallling point. I paid him most of what the kitchen and first bathroom cost, but I put a stop payment on the last 1500, not that I did not trust the company, but for my own piece of mind and protection. Matt became inscensed and said the work would not be completed until the check cleared or I wrote him another check. For all your benifits, that is illegal to do. Unless you make some special payment program with a business, you usually only owe up front either 10% or up to a thousand dollars of the cost of the job. It is the contractors duty to fulfill the contract and then get paid the remainder of what is owed the company. It is a sad statement on things, but do not do as I did and beleive that what you agreed upon is what you are going to get, especially from this person. All the shower doors were to be included in the price for both bathrooms, but Matt now denies this and I am left with an incomplete bathroom. There are many other factors that I am going to let the legal course decide. When I asked MAtt for his contractors number, he refused and told me I could look it up. He said that he was affilliated with another company (Pyramid Tile and Stone) and again said he did not know his contractors number and refused to look it up for me. Do not do business at this company because through my experience and what the other comment says, you will be more than likely very dissattisfied. A footnote....The work is sub-contracted out by this business. The workers used along with the subcontractor were very professional and did do a very good job
