Local Salon Plans Fundraiser For Chris Vega Fund

Proceeds of the cut-a-thon at Luxe Style Salon will go toward the family of Chris Vega, the Glendora teen who died of leukemia Monday.

Community members have rallied to support the family ofwho succumbed to his battle with leukemia Monday, including Luxe Style Salon.

The salon will host a Cut-A-Thon Oct. 21 for the Vega family who have suffered financially since their oldest son was diagnosed with leukemia a year ago.  Stylists will be doing haircuts and blowdrys for a minimun donation of $30.
There will also be food, drinks, and raffles, with prizes donated from local businesses.

All proceeds will be donated to the Vega family.

Go, go GPD. It is nice to be appreciated, but even better when someone acknowledges it.
