Azusa-Glendora Soroptimists Seek New Members

The organization offers community service and support for women and girls.

The Azusa-Glendora Soroptimists, an organization whose main focus is making lives better for women and girls, are looking for new members to join their club.

The club gives back to the community in several ways, including teacher’s grants, supporting YWCA Wings, Stepping Stones for Women, Glendora Shepherds and Azusa Pantries and many more.  They are also instrumental in implementing a Self Esteem seminar for 5th grade girls, making blankets for sick children and work in conjunction with Azusa Unified School District and the” My Sisters Closet” project which gives free prom dresses out to those girls who would not have been able to attend their prom.

The Soroptimist’s meetings are held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month at noon in Glendora.
