Very, very much dis-satisfied. Like the other post, the showroom is nice and does have a pretty good selection to look at. But, if you are looking for an honest place to purchase from, please go elsewhere.

I decided to give the Tile Marble Center my business after I believed I had gotten a fair price and deal. Also a deciding factor was that it was near by the house and I wouldn't have to go too far if I had a problem that needed attention. Another mistake on my part.

Well this is the problem dealing with this business. I discussed with Matt what I wanted done, two bathrooms and counter tops for the kitchen. Bathrooms were to be tiled with wainscot. Matt came to the house and we went over what I wanted. He took measurements and went over what was included for the job. I signed the contract for the work to be done at the business after again going over the price and what was to be included.

The kitchen was completed after the problems that need to be fixed were taken care of. The work was very good. The first bathroom was started and was going rather smoothly. I had paid for most of the work before I needed to. The last check for 1500 I later decided to place a stop payment on, for my benefit and protection. I did not mean any disrespect or ill will towards Matt or the company, I only did this after the fact and only for my protection. Well Matt became inscensed and among other things said I insulted him, which was not my intention at all. Needless to say things went way south from there. The bathroom is not completed and Matt said that nothing more would be done until the check cleared. For all your benifits, this is illegal. Unless you make some kind of payment arrangments. You only have to pay up front, either 10% of the price or up to one thousand dollars. (Check the California Contractors State License Board). Well, in an attempt to calm things down with Matt, I took the stop payment off the check and he was able to cash same. He still went on and on about being disrespected and insulted and so forth. Wow.

The bathroom is still not completed and should have been about two weeks ago. The only item missing is the shower door that was to be included. All the bathroom doors were to be included but now Matt says that is not correct and is refusing to complete the job as agreed upon. There are more aspects to this, but I will let the State Board of Contractors, Better Business Bureau and litigation settle the rest.

I have asked Matt for his business and contractors license but he refused to supply that to me. He said he did not know it and that I could get it off the internet. Matt said the business is afilliated with Pyramid Tile and Stone and that if I wanted it I could check with them. Very professional with alot of integrity. Well I was not able to locate the business Matt said he was afilliated with but that does not mean he is not. The business is only registered as a retail business and does not need one because he sub-contracts out. There is a business license with the city of Glendora.

Footnote.....The work is sub-contracted out. The workers did a very good job. I had no problems with any of them.
