July 4th 2012: Fireworks Shows in Surrounding Areas

The Los Angeles Sheriff's Department has provided a list of shows to help promote celebrating our nation's founding in a safe and sane manner.

With the City of Glendora's committment to enforcing its no fireworks laws, here are some alternatives to celebrating the Fourth of July while still satisfying your need for a spectacular show:

July 3
Lanterman Developmental Center

July 4
Baldwin Park
Sierra Vista High School

9 p.m.

City of Claremont
Pomona College Campus
Strehle Track (corner of North Mills and East 6th Street)
9 p.m.

City of Irwindale, open lot at the Water Reservior
Calle Del Paseo and Allen Drive
9:00 p.m.

1101 West McKinley Avenue
9 p.m.

Does anyone know if they're having the 4th of July Parade in the Village this year? I haven't heard anything about it, but I thought it was an annual thing...

I haven't seen anything advertised on the city web site, nor have I found any other information about a Glendora parade.
