July 4: Glendora Police to Enforce ‘No Fireworks’ Policy

All fireworks, including "safe and sane" fireworks, are illegal in Glendora.

With July 4 drawing near, is reminding residents that all fireworks are illegal in the city.

According to municipal law, authorities will have a right to seize all illegal fireworks. The law also prohibits the selling, use or discharge of fireworks within the city. The use of “safe and sane” fireworks, is considered a misdemeanor Glendora.

Fireworks may be legal in , but Glendora Police will be strictly enforcing its "no fireworks" policy on July 4.

Illegal fireworks in Glendora includes, but are not limited to:

  • firecrackers
  • skyrockets
  • Roman candles

  • Fountains
  • Sparklers
  • smoke balls
  • Snakes
  • Ground spinners
  • Pinwheels
  • fireworks that contain arsenic sulfide or arsenites, most chlorates, magnesium, most phosphorous, zirconium, or many other chemicals,
  • firecrackers, skyrockets, rockets, and sparklers larger than ten inches in length or one-quarter inch in diameter
