With July 4 drawing near, is reminding residents that all fireworks are illegal in the city.
According to municipal law, authorities will have a right to seize all illegal fireworks. The law also prohibits the selling, use or discharge of fireworks within the city. The use of “safe and sane” fireworks, is considered a misdemeanor Glendora.
Fireworks may be legal in , but Glendora Police will be strictly enforcing its "no fireworks" policy on July 4.
Illegal fireworks in Glendora includes, but are not limited to:
- firecrackers
- skyrockets
- Roman candles
Safe and Sane Fireworks:
- Fountains
- Sparklers
- smoke balls
- Snakes
- Ground spinners
- Pinwheels
- fireworks that contain arsenic sulfide or arsenites, most chlorates, magnesium, most phosphorous, zirconium, or many other chemicals,
- firecrackers, skyrockets, rockets, and sparklers larger than ten inches in length or one-quarter inch in diameter
