Three From Citrus College Women’s Basketball Earn Scholarships

All three former Owls basketball teammates will play for local universities next season.

The Citrus College Women’s Basketball team will be moving three players on to the next level next season. Freshman Ariel Marsh and sophomores Jasmyne Randolph and Christina Kinney have all either signed scholarship offers or committed to continue their playing careers next year the four-year level.

Ariel Marsh, who was the WSC South Player of the Year, has signed a scholarship offer with NCAA D2 member Cal Poly Pomona. Marsh will be joining a Bronco squad that won a CCAA and NCAA West Region Championships on its way to an Elite Eight run last year.

“It was important for me to choose a relatively local school, and Cal Poly has a great program. They are one of the best Division 2 schools and they have been a powerhouse at that level for a long time,” Marsh said. “I know going there that I can have an immediate impact on the program, and I know we’re going to be very successful. I like the coaching staff, and I like the team. I’m very excited about this opportunity.”
