At Stanton Elementary, children spent their Valentine’s Day showing their love for colleges. Taking on the status of a No Excuses University, the Glendora school is encouraging students that it’s never too early to start thinking about college.
The teachers and students of Stanton Elementary hosted a college fair on Thursday with booths on display of each classroom’s adopted college.
Participants learned details about over 20 schools including Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and the University of Hawaii, finding out about the schools’ mascot, major field of study, school colors and location of school.
