Snapshot: Goddard Middle School Marks Modernization Completion

The school celebrates the completion of modernization projects funded by the voter-approved Measure G.

It had been six years since voters approved the Measure G bond which gave Glendora Unified 43.1 million for school improvements. On Friday, the school district celebrated the completion of the last modernization projects under the Measure G bond during a rededication ceremony at Goddard Middle School's gym, with students, teachers and local officials present.

went to a variety of improvements: new concrete had been laid out, bathrooms remodeled and  covers over walkways were added. The school also received a newly remodeled gym, upgraded heating and air conditioning, as well as a new fitness lab.

School Board president Doug Ferrell said the district had another reason to celebrate. According to Ferrell, the projects at Goddard Middle School were completed on time and under budget.
