Retired Citrus College Spanish Teacher Gets Kudos

Yorba Linda resident Linda “Holly” Colville is recognized during Citrus College's 96th Commencement Ceremony.

Yorba Linda resident Linda “Holly” Colville received the 2012 Distinguished Faculty Award during the on Saturday, June 16. 

Colville, a Spanish instructor at Citrus College for 21 years, is an active figure on campus. Colville’s involvement includes representing the Citrus College Foreign Languages Department in the Academic Senate and serving on the Faculty Development Committee. 

She is also the founder and captain of the Citrus College Team in the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure. 

Colville, who recently retired from Citrus College, said, “I can’t think of a better way to complete my teaching career than to be honored with this year’s Distinguished Faculty Award.  This is truly one of the highlights of my life.”

GPD is great! The entire force protects this great city! There are many other facets that make GODRead More run smoothly. We cannot forget about the auxiliary, the cadets... So many other folks that also make GPD as great as it is!!!

Go, go GPD. It is nice to be appreciated, but even better when someone acknowledges it.
