Proceeds From Barnes & Noble Purchases to Benefit Glendora Schools

Customers can give back to Glendora schools during Glendora Family Week at Barnes and Noble.

The Foundation for Glendora Unified Schools and Barnes & Noble are hosting Glendora Family Week Thursday, Nov. 8 through Wednesday, Nov. 14.

During the week, Barnes & Noble in Glendora will host local celebrities and authors, as well as children’s events at its store.

FGUS will receive a portion of all purchases made at the store, including purchases made at the Starbucks Café and NOOK purchases.

Local special guests including 2008 Olympic champion Bryan Clay, Next Food Network Star contestant Jyll Everman, author Erin Fry and Beach Boy Bobby Figueroa will make appearances.

Glendora Police Auxiliaries will also be on hand Saturday, Nov. 10 to fingerprint children for free.
