The New Jersey-based sub sandwich shop New Jersey Mike’s opened today in Glendora.
Hundreds of local residents stood in line to redeem their coupons for free sandwiches. According to the store located at Route 66 and Barranca avenues, half-off coupons were also handed out to school athletics departments of Glendora, Azusa, Gladstone and Charter Oak school districts.
The coupons are a part of a school fundraiser where schools will receive a dollar for each redeemed valid coupon featuring the school’s logo. The school with the most redeemed coupons at the end of the fundraising period will receive $1,500 more than the amount already raised.
The school fundraiser ends this Sunday.
