Last Chance: Study Abroad in Italy

College students, looking to study abroad this summer? The Citrus College Study Abroad Program is accepting applications for its summer 2012 program in Florence, Italy. The deadline to apply April 2.

From June 21 through July 14, students may earn 3 to 6 units of Citrus College transferable credit while living and studying in Florence and partaking of the country’s immeasurable beauty.  Classes offered will be Art History and Appreciation- Fundamentals and Introduction to World Literature- Ancient to Early Modern. Each course is a 3-unit, CSU/UC transferable course, and students can enroll in one or both courses.

Participants live in fully-equipped apartments in the historical center of Florence within walking distance to the university. Students receive museum passes with unlimited entry to the Uffizi, Accademia, Bargello, Pitti Palace, San Marco Museum and the Medici Chapel. Several other tours are offered  including the Opera del Duomo, Baptistery, Santa Croce Basilica, Santa Maria Novella, Brancacci Chapel, and the Laurentian Library.
