Citrus College will offer a second, eight-week Nursing Assistant Program beginning Tuesday, October 22, 2013.
Prospective students who are interested in applying for the Nursing Assistant Program must attend a mandatory information meeting at Citrus College on Thursday, September 19, 2013 from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Louis E. Zellers Center for Innovation, Room 159.
Nursing Assistant Program classes will meet Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. The program prepares students to sit for the state competency examination, which is required for licensure as well as employment as an entry-level caregiver in a long-term care facility. Persons who are interested in enrolling in the Nursing Assistant Program must first apply for admission to Citrus College. They are encouraged to apply to the college before the September 19 information meeting in order to receive a registration appointment date.
