Goddard Choir to Host Pancake Fundraiser

Goddard Middle School's Allegro show choir will host its annual Pancake Breakfast on Saturday, March 9 at Applebee's, 377 N Citrus Ave., Azusa.  Breakfast will be served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. and will include a live performance by the singers of Allegro. Tickets can be purchased in advance from choir members or at the door on the morning of the event.

Allegro students are sixth through eighth graders who audition for their spot on the school choir and participate in musical theater productions, competitions and concerts throughout the year.

The annual fundraiser benefits the choir’s yearly activities.

"Even more important than raising funds, however, is the opportunity this event affords our singers to step up and take on solo work," said Patricia Trevor, director of Allegro. "The students really look forward to this opportunity to showcase their talents and perform for friends, family and the larger community."
