On Saturday, April 21st from 9:00 to 11:00 am the Upland Council PTA will be operating a Community Clothes Closet. This event is an opportunity for anyone to purchase gently used clothing for children and adults. All items are sold for 25 cents each. The event will take place in the Upland High School Cafeteria, 565 West 11th Street, Upland, CA.
For more than 25 years, the Upland Council PTA has operated a Community Clothes Closet. The community comes together twice a year and donates a variety of clothing, and this allows many families who are unable to afford expensive clothing from stores to purchase needed clothing at a very affordable prices.
All of the proceeds from the Clothes Closet are used by the Council to fund holiday baskets which are given to over 300 needy families in the City of Upland during the holiday season.

Go, go GPD. It is nice to be appreciated, but even better when someone acknowledges it.
