2011 marks the 400th anniversary of the publication of the King James Bible. The Glendora Library and Friends Foundation is pleased to collaborate with Azusa Pacific University to bring you this program. Dr. Don Thorsen, Ph.D., Chair, Department of Theology & Ethics at Azusa Pacific University, will discuss various aspects of the King James Bible: Its development, spread and dominance within the English speaking world; its implications in US society; its impact and continued relevance on education; and past and current controversies.
