Citrus College Picks New Dean of Social, Behavioral Sciences

Citrus College recently named Dana Hester as the school's new dean of social and behavioral sciences, according to a post on the school's website.

Hester, a full-time biology faculty member since 1998, will provide oversight of programs such as administration of justice, anthropology, child development, economics and geography. She'll also participate in developing curriculum, planning the budget and program review, among other things.

“In her new role, Dr. Hester will oversee a variety of college departments that are cornerstones to our students’ development,” said Dr. Geraldine M. Perri, superintendent/president of Citrus College in a released statement.  “Her knowledge and experience will be a tremendous asset to Citrus College as we continue to help students complete their educational goals.”
