Citrus Celebrates Holidays with Thanksgiving Buffet
The 31st annual event brings together Citrus staff, alumni and employees in a feast fit for a king.
About 250 pounds of potatoes, 50 pounds of green beans, 50 pounds of corn, 20 turkeys, 10 hams, and a plothera of pies.
All this filled the stomachs of many Citrus College staff, alumni and employees as the campus celebrated the 31st Thanksgiving Buffet, Wednesday, Nov. 16.
The food services staff at Citrus, lead by Supervisor Philomena O'Shea, put in coutless hours for the event.

"It's a way of uniting the whole campus," said Dale Salwak, English professor at Citrus. "This is a chance ot pull everybody together for an afternoon and share in a great meal."
At $16 a plate, guests were treated to tossed green salad, oven roasted turkey, giblet gravy, stuffing, cranberry sauce, honey baked ham, green beans/almonds,buttered corn and fresh whipped potatoes to name a few.
