Azusa Pacific Ranks Among Nation’s Best Colleges

The university is ranked on two major college ranking lists.

U.S. News & World Report placed Azusa Pacific University on its list of America’s Best Colleges, placing it in a five-way tie at No. 179 with Southern Illinois University, Edgewood College, University of Missouri, and University of New Mexico.

APU, a four-year Evangelical Christian university, is ranked with other Tier One schools, including Princeton at No. 1, Stanford at No. 6 and USC at No. 24.

For the seventh year in a row, the Princeton Review also ranked APU among 171 other schools as one of the best colleges in the west.

U.S. News & World Report annually ranks 1,400 colleges and universities in the country, reviewing several primary factors, including graduation rates, faculty resources, student selectivity, financial resources and graduation rate performance.

The Princeton Review bases its ranking on surveys given to college students throughout the year.
