Workshops Highlight Social Media Strategies to Boost Small Businesses

The first workshop focuses on how Facebook, Twitter and Instagram can give businesses a competitive edge.

To promote small business growth in Glendora, the City and the Glendora Chamber of Commerce is hosting a series of business workshops.

The workshops cover a variety of strategies to best improve businesses, including marketing through social media, business retention and expansion.

The first workshop, Marketing Strategies: Social Media, will be offered on two dates: Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9, in the Bidwell Forum at the Glendora Public Library.

This workshop will look at various social media forums, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and You Tube.

Part of the City’s Economic Action Plan, these workshops are offered to anyone interested in improving their marketing edge.

Participants should bring their laptops, tablets or iPads. Wi-Fi access will be available.
