Watch: Glendora Gathers For National Day of Prayer

The city's faithful join together to offer prayers for the community and the nation.

Glendora’s faithful gathered on the lawn of to take part in the annual service Thursday.

Hosted by The Glendora Ministerial Association and local churches, the interfaith Christian service offered prayers for local and national leaders, as well as the families of Glendora and the soldiers serving abroad.

Glendora has celebrated National Day of Prayer annuallysince former President Ronald Reagan signed into law the first Thursday of May as a day of prayerful observance in 1988.
