State Assembly, Senate Candidate Forum Tonight

The Legislative Action Committee of the Glendora Chamber of Commerce hosts two nights of candidates forums in Glendora.

The Legislative Action Committee of the Glendora Chamber of Commerce is hosting two nights of candidate forums featuring candidates for state Assembly, Senate and Congress.

The first forum is scheduled Thursday, Sept. 20, with the second night on Thursday, Sept. 27. Both nights will be at the Citrus Valley Association of Realtors, 504 E. Route 66, Glendora starting at 7 p.m.

Candidates for the various districts representing Glendora will be speaking at the forum ahead of the November elections.

The forum schedule is as follows:

Thursday, Sept. 20

State Assembly Candidates for the 48th District, featuring Joe Gardner (Republican) and Roger Hernandez (D – West Covina)

7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

State Senator Candidates for the 25th District, featuring Carol Liu (D- La Canada Flintridge) and Gil Gonzales (Republican)

8 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Thursday, Sept. 27

Congressional Candidates for the 27th District, featuring Judy Chu (D-El Monte) and Jack Orswell (Republican)

7 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Congressional Candidates for the 32nd District, featuring Grace Napolitano (D-Santa Fe Springs) and David Miller (Republican)

8 p.m. to 9 p.m.
