Find out which approved development projects will soon see shovels in the ground in 2012.

Construction on a 54-unit condominium complex next to a future Metro Gold Line station on Ada and Glendora avenues will soon begin. The vacant lot next to the post office had been slated for an 87-unit townhome condominium, until the project fell victim to the economic downturn in 2008. City Ventures, LLC acquired the property, and the Planning Commission approved final plans for the project in December.

The future Gold Line station will be a part of the second phase of development of the Gold Line extension and will be located at the site of a former train station that was demolished in the 1960’s. The condominiums are the first signs of new development the is expected to bring to the downtown area.
