Glendora To Join In on Small Business Saturday

Glendora will join other communities across the country, Nov. 30, for Small Business Saturday.

The day aims to bring attention to small businesses and remind everyone to "shop small" and dedicate a portion of their money to small businesses in the community during Black Friday and Cyber Monday, city officials said in a press release.

"The City of Glendora is committed to the success of small businesses and recognizes their importance and the strength they provide to Glendora’s economy," officials said, adding that dollars spent in the city's small businesses help provide for public safety, parks the library and street maintenance.

The city plans on celebrating Small Business Saturday with complimentary gift wrap and a drawing to win gift cards. Additionally, one raffle entry will be made for every $25 spent at one of the city's small businesses, officials said.

Five gift cards will be raffled off; four $50 Gift Cards and one $100 Gift Card, officials said, with the gift cards being valid at the store the winner chooses.

The gift wrap and raffle entry will be available at the Glendora Village Bus Plaza.
