Glendora Hosts Snow Day at Finkbiner Park

Kids up to 12-year-old are invited to play in real snow.

While it won’t be an unusual weather phenomenon, the City of Glendora’s Recreation Department is forecasting snow in Glendora for two hours.

The snow is all part of Snow Day, where children up to 12 years old are invited to enjoy real snow at Finkbiner Park 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8.

There will be four 50-foot sled runs and two 30 feet by 30 feet snow play areas.

There will also be crafts, moon bounces and a snack bar.

Kids are advised to dress for the snow, including mittens, gloves, boots and jackets.

Sliding saucers will be provided.

The fee is $7 for pre-registration and $10 the day of the event.

Registration is available online at http://activenet.active.com/glendoracommsvcs. Registration can also be done at the Glendora Community Services Department or the Crowther Teen and Family Center.

For more information call 914-2357.
