For the fourth year in a row, Glendora has received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for its fiscal planning and budgeting.
The city received the award from the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada, a nonprofit professional association of 17,400 government finance professionals in North America.
In order to receive the award, the governing body must satisfy national budget guidelines of policy documents, financial planning, and communication.
Glendora Assistant Finance Director Lettie De Dios also received an individual Certificate of Recognition for Budget Presentation.
The GFOA also awarded the city top honors earlier this year for its transparency in financial reporting.
