This fun open house features free hot dogs provided by the Glendora Police Officers Association, department tours, police displays, K-9 demos, free child fingerprinting, a cupcake walk for the kids, McGruff the crimefighting dog and much more. The day will also include demonstrations for child booster seats and a prescription drug collection for outdated and unused prescription drugs (please bring them in their original containers, no sharps will be accepted).
At 5 p.m., there will be a police memorial commemorating those officers who lost their lives in the line of duty, including our own Louis Pompei.
