Councilmembers Gene Murabito and Karen Davis were sworn into office Tuesday following the cancellation of an uncontested election.
The election, which would have occurred this month, was cancelled in December when no other candidate, except for Murabito and Davis, turned in paperwork to complete their candidacy for city council.
Murabito, who currently serves as mayor of Glendora and Davis, a former mayor, took their oaths of office during Tuesday’s city council meeting in the council’s chambers.
