Crews Clearing Way for Gold Line Extension

Crews will be clearing debris in preparation for the Gold Line extension

Construction crews will be clearing the way for the Metro Gold Line extension project this week.

In preparation for the 11.5-mile Metro God Line Foothill extension, construction crews will be removing trees, shrubs and debris along the railroad tracks from N. Citrus Avenue to N. Barranca Avenue. The cleanup began Monday and will continue until Friday, Aug. 3 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

According to a city bulletin, there will be no street lane closures, although flaggers will direct traffic. Access to local residences and businesses will not be affected, although construction noise will be present.
