City Officials Welcome New Solar-Powered Townhomes

Constructions is underway for a collection of townhomes next to the future Metro Gold Line station.

Local dignitaries were at hand for the ribbon cutting for a collection of solar-powered townhomes making its way to Glendora’s downtown.

On Tuesday, the Glendora Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting at the build site for City Venture’s Glendora Village Collection, set to be 100 percent solar-powered townhomes next to the future Metro Gold Line station on South Glendora Avenue.

Representatives for Senator Carol Liu, Congresswoman Judy Chu and Supervisor Michael Antonovich joined Glendora Mayor Gene Murabito and Council members Karen Davis and Judy Nelson for the ribbon cutting.

The townhomes have been touted as a collection of stylish, green-conscious homes at walking distance to the city’s Village shopping center.

Floor plans offer up to 4 bedrooms and up to 2,107 square feet of space.
