City Offers Low Cost Pet Vaccinations

The city will provide rabies shots and other pet vaccinations at discounted rates Saturday.

For all pets still in need of their required rabies vaccinations, the city of Glendora and thel is offering vaccinations for all community dogs and cats.

The vaccinations – required under California law -- are $7 each and will be held 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, July 23 at 160 N. Wabash. The city will also provide other pet vaccinations at a discounted rate.

According to state and city law, all dogs four months and older must be vaccinated against rabies. Pets are susceptible to the disease through contact with wildlife.
