Christmas Parade, Snow Headed to Glendora Saturday

Holiday festivities abound at the annual Hometown Christmas Parade and Snow Day.

The holiday festivities continue as Glendora hosts the annual Hometown Christmas Parade in the downtown Village Center Saturday, Dec. 8 at 9 a.m. The parade, featuring Glendora high School’s Tartan band and Santa Claus, will begin in the downtown area at Bennett and North Glendora Avenue, will proceed south to Foothill and end at La Fetra and Sandburg Schools at Grand and Bennett avenues. The roads will be closed to traffic the morning of the parade.

Motorists should expect delays.

Following the parade, parents and children can head over to America’s Christian Credit Union where children can play in 60 tons of snow. There will also be a petting zoo, food and Santa will make an appearance. Festivities begin at 11 a.m. and end at 2 p.m.

Go, go GPD. It is nice to be appreciated, but even better when someone acknowledges it.
