Candidates for June 5 Primary Election Finalized
See who's running for offices representing Glendora in the June 5 primary election.
With the candidates on the June 5 primary election ballot finalized, campaigns and voter registration drives are underway.
Recently drawn redistricting maps put previous local representatives Sen. Bob Huff, Rep. David Dreier and Assemblyman Tim Donnelly in new districts, leaving Glendora voters voting for brand new representatives in the State Senate, House of Representatives and Assembly.
Races for the new districts representing Glendora include State Senator 25th District, U.S. Representative 27th District, U.S. Representative 32nd District, and State Assembly 48th District.

Congressional maps split Glendora into two districts–the 27th District representing northern Glendora and the 32nd District representing the southern portion of the city.
The top two vote-getters in the June 5 primary election will advance to the Nov. 6 general election regardless of party preference or whether one candidate receives a majority of votes in the primary. The primary election will include elections for U.S. President, the U.S. Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives, as well as state Senate and state Assembly seats.

Making sure that Glendora residents register to vote, The League of Women Voters–East San Gabriel Valley is partnering with the to hold a voter registration drive.
The drive will be 12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday May 4 and Saturday, May 5 at the .
New voters are welcomed, as well as, those who need to change their address, name or political party affiliation.
