Animal Control to Host Pet Vaccination Clinic

All dogs must be receive their rabies vaccinations under California law.

Rabies vaccinations for pets will be offered through the city of Glendora’s Animal Control this Saturday.

All dogs are required under California law to be vaccinated against rabies.

Vaccinations will be held Saturday, June 9, from 1 to 2 p.m. at Bandshell,160 N. Wabash. Each vaccination will cost $6 each. Cats may be vaccinated as well.

According to state and city ordinances, all dogs four months and older must be vaccinated against rabies. According to a city press release, domestic pets are still susceptible to diseases by coming in contact with wildlife.

All vaccinations are done on a first come, first serve basis. Dogs must be restrained on leashes and cats must be secured in a carrier. For more information, contact Glendora Animal Control at  (626) 914-8275
