'Zombies' Targeted in Distracted Driving Campaign (Video)

The California Highway Patrol released a series of campaign videos with Californian, distracted 'zombies' behind the wheel.

Zombie drivers are the target audience for the California Office of Traffic Safety's recent YouTube video campaign during National Distracted Driving Awareness Month, according to LAist.

Flesh-eating Californians are filmed driving behind the wheel, then pulled over for various violations, including grooming, texting, calling or even partying while driving.

A first time citation will cost a minimum of $159, with a second violation at least $279, LAist reports.

Go, go GPD. It is nice to be appreciated, but even better when someone acknowledges it.
