Woman Groped While Jogging Near APU

Azusa Police are looking for a man who sexually battered a female student on Wednesday.

Azusa Police are looking for a man on a red bike who grabbed and groped a female college student jogging near the Azusa Pacific University campus on Wednesday.

Cpl. Terry Smith said the incident occurred Wednesday at around 5:30 p.m. near the Glendora border on Alosta Avenue between Citrus and Barranca avenues.

The female student was jogging on the sidewalk when a man riding a red beach cruiser on the opposite direction grabbed the girl and touched her in an inappropriate manner, said Smith.

The man is described as tall, white with a shaved head, in his early 20s, 5 feet 10 and 165 pounds.

Azusa Police alerted the campus communities at APU and Citrus College about the incident.
