Woman Drives Car into Glendora Bank

The driver and an employee in the bank were taken to the hospital for treatment.

A 69-year-old woman who may have had a medical emergency crashed a car into a U.S. Bank branch in Glendora today, injuring herself and an employee inside the bank, police said.

The woman suffered a laceration to her head and the employee was struck by a piece of furniture in the 12:40 p.m. crash at 801 S. Grand Ave., said Glendora police Sgt. Chris Stabio.

Their injuries were not severe, but both were taken to a hospital for treatment, he said.
