Witnesses Sought in Azusa Barbershop Shooting

Suspect turned himself in to police following Thursday’s shooting.

Police are looking for witnesses to an Azusa shooting that occurred in a strip mall near the Citrus College campus Thursday evening.

One man was injured with a gunshot wound to the arm in the barbershop shooting at 6:19 p.m. at 310 N. Citrus Ave. His injury was not life-threatening and is currently in stable condition, according to Azusa Police.

Suspect Dustin Juan Trujillo, 25 of Covina, peacefully surrendered to police at the police station later that night.

The motive appeared to be personal, said police. Trujillo was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and will be arraigned Monday at a West Covina Superior Court.

Anyone with information on the shooting is encouraged to call Azusa Police at (626) 812-3223.

Did APU have anything to do with the article saying that the shooting was near Citrus College instead of APU itself. Look at the location and it is a distance from Citrus College yet APU is across the street from the corner.

Dude, Marc. It doesn't matter. The story is about a shooting concerning a victom, not about periods and commas.
